Tying of vineyard.

One of the essential actions to care for the vineyard is his tying.

The dry garter of perennial and annual timber is carried out before the buds swelling. The natural features of the vine are the striving to develop the shoots from buds located at the top of the fruit arrow. This property is called polarity. But the correct tying of lignified shoots considerably weakens the manifestation of this property.

The perennial sleeves and fruit arrows usually are tied up horizontally to the trellis wire. The horizontal position of shoots contributes to the uniform development of all the buds in the bottom and top tiers and prevents the premature extension of perennial sleeves.

The tying of annual shoots vertically is allowed when  the forming of different types.

The green shoots during their growth as well are tied up 2-3 times. The first time, when they grow above the second wire and reach the lengths of 50-60 cm. The second tying is made when the shoot reaches up to the third wire, and the next - to the extent of growth of shoots.

The tying protects the young shoots from damage by wind, confers resistance to the sleeves and shoots, contributes to a better coverage of the leaf, airing the grapes, as well to the uniform distribution of shoots, and creates the conditions for the care of shrubs.

Advantages of tying with taping tool.

When tying with tape, the film does not damage the vine, as during the vine growth the tape will not crash into the wood and hinder the sap flow, and therefore, will not impair the normal development of plants.

The vines tying is carried out quickly and easily, which increases the work productivity by 3-4 times, and thus results the saving of labor force.
